BMX and MTB racing for all ages to be held at the Bulwell race track located near the top of
Sellers Wood Drive. 11 races starting on Sunday 18th September and finishing on 27th November. Best 6 results count towards your final result.
Beginners welcome - this is a new club and most of the riders are beginners.
Riders are encouraged to join the club to benefit from membership of British Cycling and everything they have to offer.
You can join on the day if you wish.
However, parental consent is required to join the club. All that’s needed is a signature.
Helmet and gloves are required and there should be padding on the top tube, handlebars and stem.
Stunt pegs are not allowed, they are too dangerous for racing.
Long sleeves and trousers are essential, elbow and knee pads are recommended.
2006 Club Membership is £5.
Registration: 14:00 - 14:30 with racing starting shortly afterwards.
For each category, there will be three qualifying races (motos) for everyone plus a final moto. See website for the points system.
There will be four age categories and a MTB class too:
Under 9, 9-11, 12-14, 15 and over, MTB
If the weather is bad on a race day we will have to decide whether or not to cancel the race -
but it will take more than a bit of drizzle or the odd shower to stop us.

- marshalling is easy but essential for us to hold a race.
