Bulwell Winter Fitness Training 2008/09
Fitness Training is from 10.00 untill 11.30 and the cost is just £1. Summer races are won and lost in the Winter - it's all down to training. Sort yourselves out and get the training in now. Don't leave it too late. All ages and abilities are welcome.
A typical sessions consists of
- warm-up
- Two sessions of sprints - for speed and power
- Pumping session
- Riding the track backwards for stamina and strength
- a few fun races and maybe a relay race if anyone has anything left.
Plenty of rest in between each session to allow for recovery and to ensure maximum effort can be put into each effort.
Don't forget that there are also the Kelvin Batey Route55 Training Sessions on a Saturday morning too.
The club is easy to locate from junction 26 of the M1. Head towards Nottingham on the A610 and after 200 yards there is another roundabout.
Take the second exit which is the A6003 towards Bulwell. The first roundabout comes after 1 mile - turn right onto Sellers Wood Drive.
After 300 yards, the BMX track is on the right.
